I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

How did you get the sun to shine on this cluster of leaves yet keep the background plants in the dark?? Beautifully done!

This was from Katie’s last walk at her park on National Sheltie Day a couple days ago. We were in the woods, and the sun was coming down through leaves, so there were spots of light. And then in processing it I just upped the shadows a tiny bit more, but essentially it looked like this out in the woods. And that’s what caught my attention in the first place.

A bright pop of color and light in the midst of darkness.
Not sure if that symbolism was intentional, but it sure is fitting for these times.
May the light and color shine brighter each day.
Hugs to you Dawn.
