I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Our dogs are the same age. Frances had her 14th birthday on the 13th. Our dog is really showing her age but every once in awhile she acts like a puppy for about 30 seconds and then she’s back in her bed.

Katie actually initiated play a couple days ago, she hasn’t done that in awhile. She still gets around pretty good most of the time but she does sleep a lot. Can’t say I blame her. Happy belated birthday to Frances!

Thank you. Yes, there were a whole big bunch of shelties from years ago all about the same age. Ricky in OH will be 14 in February too, though he is ill. Ludo in England, Maizy and Morgan in PA, Misty in NY, Reilly and Denny in FL, so many, including your Dakota and Nancy’s Dallas. It’s hard.

Aw, Princess, you still look like a young’un!! Not a spot of white around her soulful eyes either. My Dallas would’ve turned 14 in late November, had he stayed here. Give Katie a hug for me and wish her a wonderfully happy birthday!
