I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I love your photos of the birds…. I am up north and I’ve seen a lot of blue jays and crows. It’s snowing and there is a nice fresh blanket of snow outside this morning. It’s clean and fresh and it’s a new day and we are just a couple of days away from a new year. Peace.

I love these shots of cardinals and blue jays. I was hoping I would see some at my feeder this winter but nothing so far. I’ve seen them in the summer.

The blue jay shot (where the one is flying off) is my favorite. But all of them are lovely.
