Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

April Fools?

After a warmer than normal March, April started out like this.

Mother Nature just can’t resist.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. Mother Nature can be unkind.

  2. Oh, hahah! Oh, Dawn–this just made me laugh. We had gale storm warnings last night. Mother Nature tipped over our trash cans. Yeah. So not funny, Mom.

  3. That’s a terrible prank, Mother Nature!

  4. Oh dear! At least it’s just a smattering.

  5. Oh, the cruelty! But you’re getting a warm weekend, right??

  6. NO! Oh that’s funny and awful at the same time. What a photo

  7. Ha! But it is a spring snow, not a winter snow. 🙂

  8. That is a hilarious picture. I’m rushing in Alabama to cover my plants in the garden. Hard freeze here tonight.

  9. No, she can’t. Hasn’t snowed in central Maine, but it certainly could.

  10. You have more snow than Minnesota! We had snow in the air but it didn’t stay!

  11. every year is an adventure in the Midwest. A year ago I mowed the lawn at our lake house in Grayling. This year i mowed the lawn at home in Wheaton, IL on march 21st. You just never know…. and is what keeps us going. Stay well and safe. Peace.

  12. I liked when someone on the news said it looked like the Tigers and Indians were playing baseball in a snowglobe yesterday. Hilarious! (but normal for April)

  13. That’s funny! (And we were even at the freezing point here in Georgia!)

  14. Oh no! So sorry. I hope warm weather is on its way!

  15. It’s snowing here today. Not enough to stick. Just flakes flying here and there in the wind.
