I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I’ve enjoyed the lights all season. In fact I’ll probably leave them on through January. January is so dark around here.

Twins! One is dressed up to go out and party; the other is staying in for New Year’s Eve. Great capture, Dawn!

Twins is good. There are actually 3 trees there, so it’s triplets, but one of them was directly behind the lit one from the angle I was shooting.

It was. Foggy here that morning (and today too) because the air is warmer than all that snow we got.

Pawtastic photograph. We wish there was snow here. Then again if it snowed in Key West, we hate to think how cold the rest of the country would be.

Oh it’s sad the other one did not get to be festive also. Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year.

Somehow I like looking out into the darkness and seeing one tree all lit up. And this is the smallest tree so I can almost get lights to the top of it. So it gets to be lit each year. The other trees bask in it’s light.

Yes this is our yard, though not in back, we live on a corner, so it’s out by the road in the front.
