Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

Wordless Wednesday – around our house.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  4. Hi, Dawn! A wild turkey grabbing a bite from a feeder on your deck is truly amazing! That is second to my amazement that the birds in your park will eat seed from the palm of your hand. Wow! Thank you for sharing. You and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers – sending you both a hug.

  5. Which variety of wildflower seed does your husband order? Does he re-seed each year? Thank you for sharing the company info. There are so many choices! 😊

  8. Looks pretty busy there. Pretty smart turkey you have there. Knows where the easy pickings are. 🙂

  9. I read your lovely tribute to Katie. So so many are gone I find it hard to read their post. I did not see Katie mentioned on our rainbow friend https://ourrainbowfriends.blogspot.com
I still have Sweet William but I wonder every day if it will be his last. He sleeps most of the time but if I say ice cream going to United Dairy he is at the car door.
Rest in peace dear sweet Katie you were so loved.

    • Thank you. I miss her so much. I know Katie slept a lot too but I’m glad Sweet William still loves ice cream. Katie pretty much stopped eating anything at all…and food was one of her favorite things. Hugs. It’s very hard. Kiss you boy for me.

  10. Are those poppies?? I used to see a large patch of that same color when I walked, but I noticed they weren’t there recently. Perhaps the new owners of that house decided to dig them all up or something. Whatever. Yours are lovely though.
