I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I’m counting eight! The three bright red ones are easy; the others seem to be playing Hide-and-Seek!

Yes they are, sneaky birds! There are 5 goldfinches, 2 female cardinals and 3 male cardinals, total of 10!

Probably one set of leaves. There are 5 goldfinches, 2 female cardinals and 3 male cardinals!

You are right! 5 goldfinches, 2 female cardinals and 3 male cardinals. That day I had a total (I think) of 6 pair of cardinals, most of which sat in that tree, once I almost got a shot of all 12 of them, but well…not quite.

Well there’s a couple clumps of leaves. I think there are 5 goldfinches, 2 female cardinals and 3 male cardinals, total of 10. But I could have missed a couple!

They sure were pretty, up there all together. I think there are 5 goldfinches (the hardest to find), 2 female cardinals and 3 male cardinals, total of 10!

Thank you! I think there are a total of 10, 5 goldfinches, 2 female cardinals and 3 male cardinals. We are under bird siege around here!
