I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

She’s not so interested in photography, and I doubt she cares about her good side. She’s much more interested in chasing birds and getting treats. BUT, when she finally figures out that being interested in photography GETS her treats…well, THEN she’s going to love her life! 🙂

Pretty interested in chasing birds. She sits on our back deck and watches them come to the feeder, then runs back and forth chasing them off. She loves that game. I don’t think she’s been very interested in squirrels….but oh yes, leaves? Last winter when she first came here there were oak leaves blowing across the yard. She felt it was necessary to chase each one. We’ll see what this fall brings.

She is. It took me a few months to see that, as her beauty is of a different kind than Katie’s. Penny sits and holds her head very regally and her coat is coming in beautifully. She’s a stunner, this one.

Yes she sure is. I’m not sure she knows it yet, she’s an athletic dog who is into everything. Sitting still and looking cute is not high up on her agenda just yet. But when she does sit still she’s absolutely a cutie-pie!

I think I remember Munchkin, though maybe I just remember you talking about Munchkin. Penny is so different from Katie, but a very special little (actually sort of big) girl in her own right. STUBBORN for sure. Likes to cuddle on her terms, loves to be outside chasing birds.
