I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I think she might be a water dog. She seems interested in water. Last year I didn’t have anywhere to let her try. I need a lake that allows her to walk into via shallow water. So far I don’t have access to one of those but if I ever do I’ll walk out with her and see what she thinks. Katie didn’t want to get her feet damp, so she wasn’t going to walk into any lake or river or even on wet rocks!

Awwww….a penny for Penny’s thoughts. I’m sure they were very deep. Or, on the other hand, she might have been thinking about when lunch was.

She still barks at her reflection at night in the sliding door. But I don’t think she’s seen herself in water yet. If she does she’ll likely want to play.

So far she doesn’t have an issue getting her feet wet though I don’t know about getting more than that wet yet.

When she was a puppy she’d stop and think about things all the time. She’s a deep thinker for sure.
