Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

Snowing. Again

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. Katie is so beautiful, but she’d be even prettier next to a bunch of daffodils!Enough snow already!

  2. Not again? Most of our snow is gone today.

I saw a flowering bush at the park today – turns out it is Witch Hazel – and it blooms from winter to spring. I had never seen it (I think it was planted last year) and it was just so cool to see something blooming in this cold and gray weather.

  3. Sara – I like the daffodil idea. My family in the South is picking daffodils now. We’re still shoveling.

Ricky – Witch hazel is the first shurb to bloom in the spring…very early spring. We planted one last year. I guess I should slog my way out there in knee high snow to see if it’s blooming.

Oh wait. I’m keeping the sunshine of NM in my heart. Still…trying….so…….harrrrrdddd! (small whimper.)

  5. Snowed off and on all day here to. I can’t help myself–I look out the window and think “how pretty” and it is unless you have to go anywhere and the day after when its dirty and yucky or slushy and dirty and yucky.

    Spring is coming.

  6. There is the pretty Katie girl – Reilly was missing her sweet face. She doesn’t seem to mind the snow at all !

  7. And again. And again. We have snow in the forecast for this week. Again. Tired of it now.

  8. Pricilla – yes Katie likes the snow..as long as she can still run. Right now the back yard snow has a crust over it that makes it difficult for her, so she doesn’t like that so much.

Kaybeth – I say “pretty” too about the snow as I look out the back window…but not so much when I have to drive to work in it. Very tired of that commute in the snow now!

Reilly – Katie loves to pose, she thinks all her boy friends need to see her best side. Glad Reilly liked the photos.

Carol – I know. I know. Time for it (the snow) to give it up. Really.
