Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

Winter wonderland

Hopefully this is the last big snow of the season.  So with that in mind Katie and I went exploring this afternoon.  The trees and bushes, covered in wet yet fluffy snow, were beautiful.

We wandered around a small park in a nearby town.

Katie found her agility skills very useful today.  She got to “walk it” across dogwalks…

and “jump” across small creeks…

and  “climb it” up big hills.

We spent about an hour exploring…

…and when we got home the sun came out and is melting the snow!  YEA!!!

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  8. You guys have had so much snow this winter! (Most of our snow has gone your way.) It looks so pretty, but I think everyone will be glad when it melts and spring arrives. Don’t know about Katie, though.

  11. The pictures are wonderful and the snow contributes much (although of course Katie is the star), but really green grass makes a wonderful background too! I’m doing chants for spring to arrive throughout the country.

  13. Beautiful pictures. Agility is so useful! I can’t believe even after a winter of heavy snow, followed by heavy slushy mess…I still look each new snow fall and find it magical and beautiful.

  14. One thing you have to admit about winter, you get some beautiful pics during it! Neat that Katie got to use her agility training. Sounds like she had a nice adventure!
