I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I love them too. Now if we could skip right to spring and avoid winter…

Is that your yard, Dawn? I tried to leave this question earlier, from home, but wasn’t able to get it posted.

The top picture is along a road about 4 miles from here. The other two are taken from a freeway overpass 1/2 a mile from the house.

I love fall 🙂 Does it still look like that where you live? I still have a blog to share about a lovely fall hike, but most of our leaves have blown away. All that remain are some hardy oaks and aspens.

It’s still pretty close to this…these are oaks and poplar mostly.

Read this poem this morning…Beautiful pictures.
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.

I know. We’re getting spoiled. I hope I like winter as much. Don’t think so though. It’s been in the 70’s all week! 🙂
