Ten years ago we went to ‘look’ at a sheltie puppy.
Who were we fooling? Of course we were going to come home with her.
I hope she’s as happy as we are to be together.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Katie–you were an adorable little pup. Remind your mom that she is very lucky to have you! 😀

Haha! I can never just “look” either. Not when it comes to puppies. Happy Gotcha Day!

Aw, this brings back so many wonderful memories! I got Dallas in late January 10 years ago. His baby pictures look very much like Katie’s — minus the upside down sleeping, of course!!

I think there is no such thing as just looking at a puppy or a kitten. They’re like magnets.
