I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Thank you. I was sitting out on the end of our dock waiting for the sunset one evening and happened to glance over there and saw this image. I like it too, it says ‘summer’ to me.

Yes, this was during the last light one day. It’s our neighbor’s dock and kayaks and another neighbor’s house reflecting.

This is gorgeous! So peaceful, too. When you get back, you’ll need to keep this scene close so you can remember all about your trip.

There are so many little and beautiful vignettes here. As there are everywhere I suppose. I don’t know when we’re going back, it keeps snowing up there and Katie and I see no need to purposely put ourselves in the way of that.

Agree 100%. I’d stay put. Maybe you’ll see some Daffodils and Crepe Myrtles in bloom. Katie would look lovely pictured next to those!

Daffodils have already bloomed here. We’re into azaleas now. I think I posted some pics of her and the daffodils…but maybe it was just on Facebook.

I liked them too…especially that they were that burnt orange, Alabama clay color.

Thank you Otto! It’s definitely early spring here in Alabama..though last night it got below freezing, this afternoon it’s a balmy 50 something here.
