A little bit of reminiscing about my last trip to Alabama and the lake. Shot from up at the house I liked this image of our dock…
…seeming to rest as the evening turned the lake into a liquid mirror.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Beautiful! I like themes… we do them in our photo club once a month and people get creative. Ones that describe the *words*, like “ending with ock” are entertaining. Recently our club theme was “things with double letters” (e.g., “letters”). One submission that I particularly liked, just after St. Pat’s day: “Larry with Green Beer” (from club member Larry.) I enjoy seeing your responses to the challenges, even if I don’t always comment.

Thanks Ellen. This one is a bit out of focus…but I sort of liked it with the water that way.
