Wordless Wednesday

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

    • Agree. Katie and I were playing in the back yard and I said, “hey girl, let’s go on a walk in the back of our lot ” (they are building a house behind us so I wanted to see what had been done) and we started back there and then I noticed this doe relaxing back there, so we turned around and went inside.

  4. This made me smile. 🙂 We haven’t seen much of our deer lately. They’re in hiding until hunting season ends.

  5. Very nice photo. Do you suppose this deer is happy or irritated to see you? I can’t read his expression.

  7. The first words that came to Dad’s mind looking in the Doe’s expression was that the doe was saying “Do you think my butt is big.” We would answer “Of course not deer.” Yes, we have an off beat sense of humor. A lot happened this week. Tropical Storm Eta passed by us, the 55th anniversary of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, Veterans Day.

We are glad you are doing well and appreciate you dropping us a line.
