Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

Something to smile about

Here in Alabama it’s been chilly and rainy. Mostly anyway. But sometimes the sun popped out.

And sometimes the sun happened to make a daffodil glow. Which made me smile.

I bet it makes you smile too.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  2. Daffodils? Wonderful! The thought of them here seems impossibly far away, but Michigan Februarys are always like that. That’s why you escaped and got a head start. You’re so wise!

  6. With a foot or more of snow on the ground, I can’t contemplate daffodils right now 😉 Very nice sign of spring!

  7. Oh yeah, I’m smiling. When the daffodils show up, I know spring is on its way … and it can’t get here soon enough for me. This has been a beastly winter, for sure!

  11. It’ll be a long time before we see daffodils here. There’s snow storm coming today, mostly overnight for US. It’s family day here in Ontario; I’m having dinner with my sister and brother in law. That’s something to smile about.

  12. We just had 11″ of snow here in the pacific northwest, western Washington State. We usually don’t see much more than an inch or two. Thank you for that Daffodil. 🙂
