Hmmmm, that title doesn’t have quite the same ring to it, but I missed Wednesday, so there you go. And since Thursdays aren’t generally wordless, let me explain.
It’s April 15th. Lots of things are in bloom around here, but today it decided to snow. Not unusual in Michigan, but disappointing every single year.
I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.
Boo Hiss! Mother Nature can often be cruel. It’s sunny here today, but we’re under a frost advisory for tonight. Makes housetraining a puppy that much more challenging!
We had snow this past week too. It’s a Michigan and Wisconsin thing to go along with the fact that it can snow or freeze anytime before June 15th. 😉 That’s a great photo of the squirrel!!
Same here. I remember one summer when our kids were little, it froze on Father’s Day. That’s the latest I’ve seen it that cold. Hopefully we’re done with snow by now…!

We’re supposed to get more, some that accumulates, later this week. Maybe THAT will be the last of it until next season!

We’re usually pretty safe after Memorial Day, but not always. Certainly early (even mid) April is no time to be surprised at snow.
