Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

Wordless Thursday

Hmmmm, that title doesn’t have quite the same ring to it, but I missed Wednesday, so there you go. And since Thursdays aren’t generally wordless, let me explain.

It’s April 15th. Lots of things are in bloom around here, but today it decided to snow. Not unusual in Michigan, but disappointing every single year.

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. Great photo. I’d forgotten it’s Tax Day because this year it isn’t, is it? 🤔

  2. What a cute photo–using his tail to keep him dry. Good luck, little one!

  3. That is one bedraggled looking squirrel! Snow is coming to Maine, too.

  5. Boo Hiss! Mother Nature can often be cruel. It’s sunny here today, but we’re under a frost advisory for tonight. Makes housetraining a puppy that much more challenging!

  6. We had snow this past week too. It’s a Michigan and Wisconsin thing to go along with the fact that it can snow or freeze anytime before June 15th. 😉 That’s a great photo of the squirrel!!
