Wordless Wednesday

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

  1. She looks like I feel today — UGH!! I’m so weary of this weather I could howl! Ours looks quite similar. Monkey, on the other hand, seems to love it (perhaps all kids do!)

  2. She looks like this is an endurance test, or “if I close my eyes maybe it will go away”.

  4. What a beautiful, and somewhat humorous, portrait. I have the feeling she’d be pleased to have a little less snow and a little more warmth!

Not Katie’s favorite part of snowy weather. I don’t blame her!

  7. Has your snow stopped yet? How much did you get? I asked my mom and she said she doesn’t have a clue.

    • Yes, it was pretty much stopped when we woke up this morning, but then this afternoon it started again, but we only got maybe an inch more. I measured the snow on the deck railing and it was between 6 and 7 inches. But the front yard seems deeper. Weather guy says we got between 7 and 8 inches around here. Lapeer got 11 or 12 inches. The most snow was down by the Ohio/Michigan border.
