I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

It was, first snows always are. By the 500th snow it’s not so much.

It was shot in color….it’s just that with the snow and no leaves it looks black and white!

The first snow is always pretty. Then, by the time February rolls around, we’re so tired of the stuff and eager for Spring, that we’d gladly pack it all up and ship it to Florida!

That is our very same scene today… First snowfall for us. Already 3-4 inches has fallen – and is still falling. It is beautiful (your image!)

We got less than an inch and most of it has melted now.

It’s real heart attack snow, tell you what! There will be many a melting snowman before the night is over. It’s not overly cold and it’s really wet so…

Same view here this morning. Just enough to make everything pretty, but not enough to shovel.
Thankfully it has already melted, and we can get back to pretending it is still Fall.🍂
