I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.
Very funny set of photos and captions Dawn! Those youngsters sure are vocal and almost as big as Dad. I don’t blame Dad for sitting there just preening, then leaving since by then he had to listen to two kids whining for food. 🙂
They are so fun to watch. We have lots of different kinds of bird kids around here right now. Sometimes it’s hard to know for sure if they’re kids or just skinny adults.
It was fun to watch. What I didn’t catch on the camera but saw was him feeding them jelly from the feeder. Then he flew to the tree and they followed. He was so done with them by that time. But they just kept yapping at him and fluttering their wings. When he left they flew to the feeder and helped themselves…which they had been doing prior to his arrival. Little stinkers.
