Change Is Hard

…but change is certain.

Wordless Wednesday

Author: dawnkinster

I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

    • The wigelia bush was prime at the moment, and I liked the way the two branches framed her. Plus she was in a good mood, and there was nothing distracting her, so it all worked out.

  3. This is so beautiful. The princess and the flowers. How pretty! 🙂

    • We just happened to go out for a walk around the yard and I saw that this shrub was at it’s peak. And she was willing to pose…so we played around a bit and this was my favorite shot.

  4. Is the Princess lying beneath an azalea?? Whatever…both are beautiful!

  5. That photo is completely delightful!!! Soooo pretty!!! DakotasDen

  6. Love it. Does she pose for you or did you just pick a good shot?

    • Both. She is used to posing, and will sit, wait, and down on command, though sometimes she protests a bit first. But she’s almost 10 and had several years of obedience, so if I use my school voice she generally does as asked. Plus there might be a treat involved…so…and then I pick the best shot! LOL!

  7. What a great picture. Like a postcard
    Lily & Edward

  8. Sigh – that is the most beautiful photo of the prettiest sheltie princess ever 🙂

  9. Beautiful!
