I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

I know. So pretty! It’s reflections on the pond across the street from me, a couple evenings ago.

It was just a fluke. I was walking away and noticed the reflection and zoomed in…didn’t expect it to be this cool. This is not edited, those were the actual colors. Amazing.

Thanks Ellen! I looked today and it doesn’t look anything like this anymore. Light and color changes so fast.

They sure do. Like the gingko trees down the street–slowly turn yellower and yellower and just about the time they hit peak yellow, a wind/rain storm comes up and the next day the trees are almost bare.

I think ginkgo trees lose all their leaves at once most times. I usually have a ring of leaves at the base if we have no wind. Though I never see it actually happen. They are sneaky trees.
