I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

OK. Corvair was an early 60s Chevy. The lights are the same.

This was on display at the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety…an old Chevy, early 50s …that they crashed to see the safety features (of which there were virtually none).

I know! I remember riding in the ‘way back’ of a station wagon with no seatbelts.

Possibly. Was a big old car…I’ll post the inside picture tonight when I have my laptop going at the next hotel. This was taken at the Insurance institute of Highway Safety where they do test crashes. It’s on display there.
