I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Only caught a glimpse of the moon while it was low on the horizon but it was still spectacular.

Yes, it’s been beautiful. This was a day or so after full moon…but still wonderful. I owe it to Katie that I saw it at all.

You know, for some odd reason (maybe because we’ve had a few days now without rain and clouds), it seems like the moon has been full forever! Great shot, Dawn — and what a pretty blue sky above you!

This was early morning, the easiest time for me to capture the moon because the light from it isn’t so bright. I can enjoy the full moon these days, because I’m not working. When I was in Underwriting we had craziness during full moons and they weren’t so fun.

Thank you. This was setting one day this week as I was taking Katie-girl out for one of her innumerable visits to the yard.

Katie makes sure I’m outside often enough to capture all the magic that’s waiting out there to be noticed.
