I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

This is Penny’s first visit to Katie’s park, and where I always took Katie’s picture when we were there. I like to think Penny was thinking about the sister she never met. I know I was.

Yes it is a sweet picture. The reality is she wouldn’t look at me so I took what I could get and then I realized I really like it this way. Eventually she did turn around and look at me, but she’s not trained to be a photo model yet.

Yes, she’s a sweet little girl. She was being stubborn and refusing to look at me, but eventually she’ll get used to being the subject of my photo shoots. It’s all new to her right now.
