This is part of the ceiling of a concert hall inside the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor Michigan. We were there last night listening to the Ann Arbor Symphony. It was another magical night.
I don’t have much that is ornate here at home, but there’s a lot out there in the world that fits that description. You can see other interpretations of ‘ornate’ at the original post. And you can see a few of my favorites (so far), here, here and here.
Share a little bit of the ornateness in your life; link your post to the WordPress challenge so we can all see. I look forward to it!

Great picture for the “Ornate Challenge”. I have not done the challenges the last three or four weeks. I think it is because I am trying to do too many things at the same time. Maybe next week I can get back into the weekly challenge. I think I just need to manage my time a bit better lol.

Though I’m an Aussie living “down under”, for 10 years I lived in your country — and visited Ann Arbor a couple of times a year, to visit my in-laws. So it was great to see your post — it rekindled old memories. Do you live there?
Best wishes from Brisbane, Australia.

I live one hour north. But I have family there and both parents grew up in Ann Arbor.

We’re probably an hour south of Saginaw, near Clarkston, south of Flint.
