I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

Its hard to remember being warm. Enjoy those beaches and smelling the magnolias.

I bet. I’m lucky to be here, though it certainly isn’t as warm as I expected, and we’re getting a lot of rain. Thunderstorms going through all day today. Four dogs in the house. It’s been exciting.

That’s just so sad. Way too late in the season for such cold. It’s chilly here too…but nowhere near that!

Aw, these are so pretty. Send some of that sunshine and warmth up here, okay (we’re gray, low 30s, and had a wet snow overnight — ugh!)

It’s thunderstorms and pounding rain here in northern Florida. Golf ball size hail in St Augustine, just 30 miles south of us. Still, better than snow.

Not real warm here yet, and lots of rain. But warmer starting tomorrow with sunshine! My last day here is tomorrow so I’m hoping for some sun!
