I'm a long time banker having worked in banks since the age of 17. I took a break when I turned 50 and went back to school. I graduated right when the economy took a turn for the worst and after a year of library work found myself unemployed. I was lucky that my previous bank employer wanted me back. So here I am again, a long time banker. Change is hard.

You have captured an amazing sky. And all the organic forms and colours of the sky stand in contrast to the geometric shapes of the bridge.

Thank you Otto. It was actually my husband’s idea…I was busy taking classic shots of the bridge in the fading light when he said….get those ducks (they are geese, but ducks work as well) in that light over there. Then it turned out I liked the geometric sharp lines against the sky too…and really, the ‘ducks’ were lost in the whole thing. But if he hadn’t noticed the light over to my left I never would have seen this. That’s why I keep him around.

Sounds like a good idea to keep him around. 🙂

Thank you Debbie! It’s a very cool bridge. When I lived in the Upper Peninsula, many many many years ago I used to go over this bridge several times a year. Now I have to say it does scare me just a bit. Don’t know where that came from.

My daddy hated that bridge — it always scared him, too! It wasn’t nearly as scary riding in the backseat!
